Web Reporter - Part 1

Web reporter is a graphical development environment used to produce report populated by data from any database. It allows creation of simple reports through graph, charts and text report. Report can be easily created by any user within few minutes.

Every organization uses reporting in one form or another. As a result, reporting is considered an important operation that can allow you to predict your organization's results, if you are good in analysis. This is also called Business Intelligence(BI).

Web reporter allows you to connect to any database, choose fields from tables, perform operations on them and customise your report as per your requirement. Web reporter gives flexibility to view report as per the requirement. You can also modify the report at any stage. It allows you to generate report in various formats(table, graphs) with the least effort thus saving your time. This unique feature with the power to dynamically building report from any database makes Web Reporter quite lethal.

Web Reporter is intuitive and easy to learn and use. It provides the following features:
Create/ Edit/ Delete user
Add/ Edit/ Delete/ Assign Profile
Create Report
View/ Run/ Edit/ Delete Report
Create and save report instance
List all database tables
Add expression/ filter/ clause to report
Save personal Instance
Report can be generated in PDF formate.

In the first version we will build the functionality to generate the graphical reports which we will enhance further with more functionality in the next revision.
