MusicMaker allows you and your child to Create, Play, Edit and Compose your own music on your Home PC.
The software has got 4 modules. viz. Synthesizer, Rhythm Studio, Player and Editor.
The Synthesizer allows the user to:
Play using the keyboard or mouse choosing from a bank of 128 tones (instruments)
Record what you play sequentially in up to 16 tracks
(e.g. You can first play and record the piano. Then with your piano tune in the background you can play the guitar. Then with both the instruments playing in the background, you can record the sitar, and so on)
Import a file created in the rhythm studio or an external midi and play along with it.
The Rhythm Studio allows the user to:
Select from 1 of 6 pre-determined rhythms (such as Rock Beat 1) and change the BPM (beats per minute) to suit the song.
Create customized background beats using a range of 47 rhythm instruments.
Save customized rhythms at any BPM (40-400) and then use them in the composition in the synthesizer.
The Player allows the user to:
Play midi songs created by MusicMaker
Play midi songs from any source.
The Editor allows the user
Edit the compositions recorded
The software also contains 10 musical compositions recorded using the MusicMaker including 1 original composition. |
