SETTING UP AN OFFSHORE DEVELOPMENT CENTER 

Phase 1: Sharing Phase - The phase aims at creating a ‘core team’ that understands the client vision and fully understands the requirements and steers the development effort. Phase 1 delivers project plans, and project control documents.
Phase 2 : Ramp-Up Phase - It deals with assembling of resources and infrastructure, besides training the other team members. This phase ensures that the entire team is in sync with client’s needs.
Phase 3 : Development Phase - The dedicated team gets into actual development mode following the defined development processes. The actual development could be single or multiple projects.
Phase 4 : Maintenance - The maintenance team ensures that the gaps are plugged and deviations controlled on an on-going basis. The team assumes total responsibility for support, version control, management and shipment of upgrades and patches.

Partner Managed, Dedicated Development Center
In this model WEB ACCESS provides the resources and infrastructure for the partner to conduct business. The partner manages the projects and deliverables from the teams. All processes, including the development process, quality management systems and standards and norms used in such a facility are as defined by the partner.

 

WEB ACCESS Managed, Dedicated Development Center
In this model WEB ACCESS manages the resources, infrastructure, projects and deliverables from the Center. The Partner allocates tasks and manages reviews. All processes, including the development process, quality management systems and standards and norms used in such a facility are according to WEB ACCESS’s specifications. Inputs and modifications are implemented if the client so requests.
