It was very challenging to work on 3.0 feature set and my team worked really hard to ensure release was as per schedule. Now that CiviCRM v3.0 alpha1 is out, I can shed some light on my favorite features in 3.0

Usability

* Navigation Menu, I bet this will help to reduce number of clicks needed to navigate inside CiviCRM.

* “Create New” (Shortcuts select) and “Recently Viewed” blocks ( shows recently modified / viewed objects)

NTEN recently released the results of a CRM satisfaction survey they did a few months ago. It was a pleasure to receive the CiviCRM report card. We had never done a survey of our users, so this was good feedback and a big morale boost to the entire team. It will let you relax, while it does the hard work of creating presentations with Charts from your Survey Data that may be present in files like CSV and XLS. It parses the input file, matches the input data with the Rules specified by the User and generates the PowerPoint presentation upon a single button click. The presentations are created in a time that is 90% lesser compared to the conventional manual method, saving large amount of time.

I have always felt the need to accommodate all my learning resources like books, videos and animation and images, at a single place. I am sure many of us do feel the need. K-Class comes to our rescue for solving this very problem.

K-Class has been developed keeping in mind the requirements of the Educational Domain, the prime concern being the Cost. It has been built in Java, which is Cost Effective but doesn’t compromise on providing us with its umpteen advantages.
